Germany's largest chocolate festival will be back in Wernigerode in 2025.
Since 2012, chocolART has been attracting up to 100,000 chocolate lovers from all over the world to the "Colourful City in the Harz Mountains". For five days, the tempting aroma of chocolate wafts through the streets and alleyways.
From 29 October to 2 November 2025, the old town of Wernigerode will once again be transformed into a chocolate adventure world. A large and fine selection of chocolatiers, confectioners and chocolate producers will be presenting exquisite delicacies on the market square, Nicolaiplatz, Kohlmarkt and Breite Straße.
Top chocolatiers from different countries invite you to discover the diversity of chocolate with praline courses and hot chocolate. The chocoMARKT in the historic centre of Wernigerode is open daily and admission is free: Outside the market, there are numerous themed chocolate-related offers in restaurants, shops and cafés.
