Harz holiday ticket

All overnight guests paying tourist tax in Wernigerode and Schierke can use the holiday ticket on the above-mentioned lines in the Harz Mountains.

After your arrival in Wernigerode or Schierke you pay the visitor's tax to your host or hostess. The amount is currently € 3.00 per adult person and overnight stay.

You will receive the "WERNIGERODE-ticket" guest card from your host. This guest card is valid as a ticket for all participating transport companies in the HATIX network. You do not need to buy an additional ticket on the bus. Please show your guest card when boarding the bus.
 

The holiday ticket is valid on all bus and tram lines in the Harz and Goslar districts. In the districts of Mansfeld-Südharz and Göttingen, the ticket is valid on selected lines. A detailed overview of the lines.

No, with the HATIX ticket you cannot travel on the Harzer Schmalspurbahnen, Deutsche Bahn and Abellio Rail NRW trains or on special buses, call-collecting taxis and call-line taxis.

No, the holiday ticket is only valid for overnight guests who pay the respective guest contribution.

Yes, the holiday ticket is valid for the transport of people, objects (e.g. bicycles) and pets.

Please note that the staff on site make the final decision on the transport of bicycles and dogs. Transport may be excluded due to a lack of space or a threat to order and safety.
