Our recommendation for your day trip
Combine a guided tour of the town with a trip on the small railway to the castle and back. A guided tour of Wernigerode Castle will give you impressive views of the Harz landscape and the town.
The following services are included in our day programme:
- Individual group tour of the town "Through 6 centuries", duration approx. 90 minutes
- Return journey from the city centre to Wernigerode Castle on the Bimmel or Schlossbahn train
- Admission and guided tour of Wernigerode Castle
You are free to choose the time and order of the individual services. Depending on the stop, a journey to the castle on the narrow-gauge railway takes approx. 10 to 15 minutes. You will need to plan a 10-minute walk from the tram stop to the castle entrance. A guided tour of the castle takes approx. 60 minutes.
We can book the day programme for groups of 10 people or more. The cost per person for the day programme depends on the number of participants in the group. Please refer to the overview below for the price that applies to you.
