The company

Wernigerode Tourismus GmbH (WTG) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the town of Wernigerode. The company acts as a tourism service provider for guests, customers and business partners. The company is based at the two tourist information centres in Wernigerode and Schierke. Guests can take advantage of a wide range of services there: Accommodation, brochure service, ticket sales for events, bookings for guided tours, sale of hiking maps, literature and souvenirs, advice on planning a stay in the region and much more.

In addition, the Fürstliche Marstall Wernigerode is managed by the WTG. In addition to the many municipal events organised by us, such as the Schierke Winter Sports Weeks, Walpurgis in Schierke, the 24h Hiking Trophy, the Town Hall Festival, the chcolART Chocolate Festival and the Christmas Market, we also organise events at the Culture & Congress Centre in the HKK Hotel.
